First Time User, Please Register before Accessing
Following the steps below to register for your SciFinder Scholar account (Cal State LA students/faculty/staff only):
1. If you are a new user of SciFinder Scholar, first you need to register for a user ID and password using the Registration Link. For a step by step guide of how to register, visit How to Register to Use SciFinder page.
2. During registration, you need to accept the User Agreement, enter all contact information. Be sure to use your Cal State LA e-mail as your contact email. Create a username and password that are different from your Cal State LA MyCSULA Identity user name and password.
3. After clicking Register, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Click the link included in the email to complete the registration process.
4. Once you have completed your registration you can access SciFinder Scholar and login using your registered user name and password.
ChemDraw Prime is available for free to Cal State LA students, faculty, and staff. It allows you to draw chemical structures and reactions. Follow the link to download ChemDraw.
