    DOAJ aims to be a comprehensive portal for quality, scholarly open access journals.
  • Directory of Open Access Scholarly Journals in Education
    The Education Research Global Observatory maintains a complete and current directory of open access peer-reviewed journals in education.
  • BioMed Central - is a United Kingdom-based, for-profit scientific publisher specialising in open access journal publication. BioMed Central publishes 220 open access, online, peer-reviewed journals in STM (Science, Technology and Medicine) disciplines. BioMed Central is owned by Springer Science+ Business Media.
  • Public Library of Science (PLoS)  is an inclusive, nonprofit, peer-reviewed, open-access resource from the PUBLIC LIBRARY OF SCIENCE, publishes peer-reviewed journals in science and medecine. One PLoS publication, PLoS One, has an efficient, innovative peer-review process that results in the publication of all technically sound papers.
