When you write the descriptions of your timeline, you may want to incorporate scholarly research (books, journal articles) to provide context for an event. For example, if I include the event "Bleak House was Published," I may want to describe the influence the text had on literature for centuries as discussed by a certain scholar in his book on the topic.
