Air Baron Board Game Box

Air Baron

Airlines vie for control of the American skies in this hybrid business/war game. Each turn, the active player decides whether to make an investment or, to forgo income for a round and enter Fare Wars. In Fare Wars, players pay and roll dice to take over individual spokes to control major-city hubs. Income is generated by randomly drawing purchased spokes and controlled hubs. When a player, on their turn with no outstanding loans, has a mix of market share and cash on hand that equals or exceeds the winning target (which varies with the number of players), that player wins.

The game is about Jakob Fugger, who was probably the wealthiest man of his time. “Jakob the Rich,” as he was named in his time, owned so much money that he loaned money to a host of counts and kings. Often, they were not able to repay him in cash, so they awarded him special privileges, such as trade rights and offices. Players assume the role of the merchants from Augsburg and try to get what they can - by means of auction - from the nobility, thus increasing their wealth and particularly their social status.

Cytosis: A Cell Biology Game

Cytosis: A Cell Building Game is a worker placement game that takes place inside a human cell. Players start out with a number of workers and on a player’s turn, they will place one of their workers in any available location within that cell. Some of the locations provide players with resources (e.g., mRNA, ATP); some with actions (e.g., convert resources, collect cards). Resources are used to build enzymes, hormones and/or receptors, which score Health Points. The player with the most Health Points at the end of the game wins

In Dominion, each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can "buy" as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end.

Dungeon!

In many ways Dungeon! is similar to Dungeons & Dragons, although much simplified and transformed into a board game. Players explore a dungeon that is divided into levels of increasing difficulty, fighting monsters for valuable treasure. As players venture deeper into the dungeon, the monsters become more difficult and the treasure more valuable. Several character classes each have slightly different fighting abilities – most notably the wizard, who can cast spells. Combat is simulated using dice; players roll the dice to attack a monster, and if unsuccessful, the dice are rolled to determine the effect of the monster's counter-attack.

Players follow Columbus by exploring the islands he discovered. Players slowly explore the islands – by picking and placing land tiles that are most favorable to them – and discover wealth in the form of gold and fish. As they learn about the land and sea areas of this new land, they position their caballeros to try to maintain control of the important regions. Castillos give them a measure of protection from others, and ships allow them to establish trade and to fish for food. Success is measured in the size of land and sea areas they control. Their success is measured twice, and in the end these scores are summed and the winner declared.

Gobblet Board Game

Gobblet is played on a 4x4 grid, and each player has two pieces. Your goal in Gobblet is to place four of your pieces in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal row. Your pieces start nested off the board. On a turn, you either play one exposed piece from your three off-the-board piles or move one piece on the board to any other spot on the board where it fits. As soon as a player has four like-colored pieces in a row, they win.

In HerStory, you're an acclaimed author, writing a book to tell the stories of remarkable women of history. Players take turns doing research, drafting chapters, and completing them for points and possibly for research symbols or special powers. The game ends when a player has written eight chapters, and the player with the highest scoring book wins.

The game is a light strategy game featuring engine-building and set collection. You do research by collecting research tokens, and by doing the right research, you can complete chapters about different historical women, for points.

Loteria is a traditional Mexican game combining cards and Bingo, and it has been played as a game of chance, as a pastime and for educational purposes. Like Bingo, one may win by matching all of the fields on the grid-card, or by matching a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line.

The goal is to be the first one to get all the pawns to the Finish lane.

Uno Star Wars edition. This edition comes with a special “Wild the Force card”. When you play the special card, choose another player and then choose a color. the chosen player must show you their hand and if they have at least one card of the chosen color, they are forced to draw two cards. If they do not have any cards of the chosen color, they suffer no penalty and play continues in current order with the chosen color. If this card is turned up at the beginning of play, the person to the left of the dealer chooses the color start begins play.

These habitats focus on several key aspects of growth: gain food tokens via custom dice in a birdfeeder dice tower; lay eggs using egg miniatures in a variety of colors; draw from hundreds of unique bird cards and play them. The winner is the player with the most points accumulated from birds, bonus cards, end-of-round goals, eggs, cached food, and tucked birds.

Yahtzee is a classic dice game played with 5 dice. Each player's turn consists of rolling the dice up to 3 times in hope of making 1 of 13 categories. Examples of categories are 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind, straight, full house, etc. Each player tries to fill in a score for each category, but this is not always possible. When all players have entered a score or a zero for all 13 categories, the game ends and total scores are compared.
