Searching for Books in One Search

Use One Search to locate books and other library materials by keyword.  If you're looking for a specific item you can search by title, author, etc using the advanced search.

Finding Autobiographies vs. Biographies in One Search

Use the advanced search in One Search and search by author/contributor to find autobiographies/ memoirs/  photograph collections/ interviews/ poetry (primary sources) by musicians vs. searching the musician's name as a subject to find biographical information (secondary source).  You may have to broaden your search to CSU collections if you are not coming up with many titles at our library. You can then request the title you need using CSU+.

In this screenshot example, the tick box next to "CSU Collections" is checked. The search has been limited to the Author/Contributor and the researcher has typed in Shakur, Tupac in the text field. After hitting enter to search, the researcher can further refine the results with limiters on the left side navigation panel.
