Members of the CSULA academic community are invited to read the fourth book in the OCOB series, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, by Rebecca Skloot. The book's many themes are teachable from a variety of disciplines and perspectives. Faculty and staff are encouraged to incorporate the book and related campus events into their curriculum. Community activities will be scheduled throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters 2011-2012.
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is available at the University Bookstore at a 20% discount.
