The kick-off event for this year’s One Campus, One Book (OCOB) -- a University Library initiative designed to encourage a common reading experience and sense of community at Cal State L.A. The 2014-15 selection is Shanghai Girls by Lisa See. The novel follows the story of two wealthy sisters in 1930s Shanghai, China, who, to pay off their father’s gambling debt, are sold into marriage to two brothers in Los Angeles. Come learn more about the book and upcoming events/activities.  Light refreshments will be served and we'll also be raffling off some copies of the book!
