Hosted by Fort Hayes State University, Academic Leadership Journal in Student Research is an Open Access, annual, online, peer reviewed, international journal dedicated to the publication of empirical and non-empirical student research (undergraduate and graduate) within all disciplines, and of pedagogically based professional work that explores the intersection of student research with teaching and faculty research. Our mission is to provide a forum for exceptional student research and to promote collaboration between students and teachers in the classroom, laboratory, and field.

American Journal of Undergraduate Research (AJUR) is a national, independent, faculty peer-reviewed, open-source, quarterly, multidisciplinary student research journal, established in 2002. ARCHIVE is an award-winning journal of history published annually by undergraduate History majors, in partnership with the History Department and the UW-Madison chapter of Phi Alpha Theta. ARCHIVE accepts submissions from undergraduate students of all majors and from colleges and universities in the US or abroad.

The Butler Journal of Undergraduate Research publishes original, scholarly research undertaken by undergraduates from any college or university. The Canadian Journal for the Academic Mind (CJAM) is a student-run, multidisciplinary, open-access, research publication dedicated to providing a platform for young academics and researchers from around the world to share their research and ideas. CJAM welcomes original research papers, reviews, and opinion pieces from undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students.

Compass is an online journal that provides a space for the work of talented undergraduates who have original and well-articulated insights on important ideas and issues relating to American democracy understood in the broad contexts of political philosophy, history, literature, economics, and culture. Compass is hosted by a co-editorial team at Jacksonville State University and Northern Illinois University.

Critique is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarship by students of political science. The journal, which is recognized by American Political Science Association (APSA) and indexed by EBSCO-Host database, accepts submissions from all the subfields of political science. The articles submitted to Critique undergo a rigorous peer-review process.

Culture, Society, and Praxis (CSP) seeks to empower undergraduate students by creating a communal learning platform for the exploration of transformative ideas. CSP is a multi-lingual, multi-cultural, and inclusive space for experimenting with provocative views. The journal is not limited to academic writing; we also seek alternative expressions of knowledge, such as multimedia works. We encourage submissions from all undergraduate students who are committed to engaging with the editorial process.

Falsafa welcomes submissions on topics pertaining to all areas of philosophy and encourages undergraduates from all universities, majors, and backgrounds to submit creative works. We receive and publish papers on diverse subjects and from a variety of perspectives. Falsafa is partially aimed at an Undergraduate audience, which should be taken into consideration while writing your paper.

The International Journal of Exercise Science (IJES), published by Western Kentucky University, is dedicated to advancing the field of movement sciences by providing a platform for research-minded professionals, with a special emphasis on serving students and early-career investigators. IJES seeks to foster the development of scholarly dissemination and peer-review skills in both students and professionals, supporting the next generation of researchers in their contributions to exercise science.

The International Journal of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the publication of outstanding scholarship by undergraduates and their mentors. IJURCA accepts submissions of original research articles, fiction, poetry, photography, video, and other creative work from undergraduate students in all academic disciplines--of approximately 3,000 words in length. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, to be published online after successful review.

JAC (ISSN 3066-4330) was the first undergraduate journal in print devoted to art criticism. Founded in New York at Barnard College in 2015, the journal is published annually and includes critical writing and art made by undergraduates internationally. Connecting the ideas of students across institutions, the journal is also a network of young and established critics. While students create, review, and edit work for JAC, a group of alumni and professionals support production.

Journal of Student Research (JSR) is an Academic, Multidisciplinary, and Faculty-reviewed Journal (Houston, Texas) devoted to the Rapid Dissemination of Current Research Published by High School Edition, Undergraduate and Graduate students. The journal seeks articles that are novel, integrative, and accessible to a broad audience, including an array of disciplines. The content of the journal ranges from Applied research to Theoretical research. In general, papers on all topics are welcome to submit.

JURSE is a peer-reviewed, undergraduate journal registered with the Library of Congress that accepts submissions of any subject, from any undergraduate institution. We receive hundreds of submissions for publication every year, from institutions ranging from small liberal arts colleges to international institutions. The review process for publication includes peer, graduate, and faculty referees, ensuring that the Journal publishes competitive material that follows the Journal’s standards for academic, creative, and passionate work.

MarSci is an inter-institutional venue for publishing undergraduate research manuscripts pertaining to the
marine and aquatic sciences. Students interested in writing a manuscript based on their undergraduate research
experience, as well as research advisors to undergraduates, should find MarSci to be the perfect opportunity for
undergraduates to engage in the process of submission and publication, a unique learning experience that is not
typically available to most undergraduate scientists.

Open Americas (OA) is a platform for sharing content that engages with contemporary social issues facing the Western Hemisphere. We advocate a diversity of thought through information, whether it be conveyed through research, literature, reviews, or photographs. OA does not strictly adhere to any political or religious doctrine and encourages open, respectful debate and critical thought.

SOCIAL MOMENTS: A Student Journal of Social Relations is a free, online, interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal examining the social and cultural world through a social science lens. All graduate and undergraduate students of the social sciences are invited to submit articles for publication. Relevant disciplines include, but are not limited to: sociology, criminology, criminal justice, women/gender studies, sexuality, political science, social psychology, cultural/social anthropology, and cultural/social geography.

The Comparative Literature Undergraduate Journal will showcase the best undergraduate work in comparative literature across the nation, treating a broad range of topics including but not limited to theoretical literary discourse, international trends in literature, and comparisons of two particular national literatures.

California Sociology Forum, is a student-led journal committed to cultivating student research, supporting intellectual exchange, and featuring diverse perspectives on various issues of our society and world. The journal features the scholarship and creative works of Cal State LA student authors.

Philosophy in Practice is the student-run journal of the Philosophy Department at California State University, Los Angeles. Each of the student contributors is nominated to submit an article by one or more faculty members in the Department of Philosophy. All writers are either undergraduates at Cal State LA or MA candidates in the Philosophy Department. Any student at Cal State LA, who has demonstrated superior ability to compose works of advanced philosophical research, is eligible for nomination.

So Dayi is a student research journal, established in June 2020 by Dr. McDougal. The goal of the journal is to assist students in developing their writing and editing skills, expose them to the publication process, develop their research skills, and engage in professional development.

Text & Type was established at California State University, Los Angeles in 2021 with the aim of showcasing innovative and imaginative work produced within global college writing communities. Sponsored by the English Department at Cal State LA, the journal is committed to supporting writing intensive global education initiatives that celebrate and empower first-generation college students. Special issues of the journal also feature critical and creative multimedia projects exploring current pedagogical conversations in the field of Writing Studies, including but not limited to: work with first-year student writers, equity-focused writing pedagogy, engaged and community-based learning in the writing classroom, and digital writing and research.
