Creating an ICPSR account with your Cal State LA email address will allow you to access a wider range of data on the site, as well as download and upload data and view account stats.
Choose the Log In button at the top of any ICPSR page. This will display a page with many options of how to log in. You want to choose the last option on the list, “Sign in with email." Using your Cal State LA email address will provide a wider range of access, as your account will be associated with a member institution.
When you choose the “Sign in with email” button, you will see an option for “Migrate MyData info.” If you have previously had a ICPSR account, please choose this option and use the same email address to maintain access to your data. If you have not previously had an account, choose “Set up new account” at the bottom of the screen. Once you have filled out the form that opens, you will be sent a verification email that will be valid for 15 minutes. Once your email is verified, you will be redirected back to the ICPSR site and can manage your new account.
We cannot use the “Access through your institution option” at this time. Please create an account using your Cal State LA email address to ensure that your account is linked with our membership.
