  • How long will students and employees be able to access the New York Times?
  • Students have access until 12/31 of the graduation year they select when registering. 
  • Employees receive 4 years of full account access. After 4 years, they must re-authenticate by visiting accessnyt.com.

 

  • What's included in Cal State LA's New York Times subscription?

Articles from 1851 - present, digitized images from 1851-2002, New York Times produced videos, interactive graphics, blogs, podcasts, newsletters, subscriber events, International, Spanish and Chinese editions, and access through the NYT mobile app.  Access to the NYT inEducation site is also included but requires a separate account.

  • What if I already have a personal New York Times subscription?

  • Can I download PDFs of the digitized historical New York Times?

Yes, digital images from 1851-2002 are available in the Times Machine. PDF downloads are limited to 5 per user, per day. 

 

  • Can I access the NYT through the mobile app?
