Use OneSearch to locate books, journal articles, media, and other library materials. You can search by keyword/subject (recommended) or if you're looking for a specific item you can search by title, author, etc.
The library uses the Library of Congress (LC) classification system. LC subject terms which may be helpful for this class include:

Here's an example using the Advanced Search in OneSearch. To search for books about the subject "codices (Mesoamerican)" you would select "Subject" as your search method, enter your subject, select Material Type "Books" and click Search:
If you can't find an article or book through the library, then you can use CSU+ in OneSearch to request a copy of your article or book for free from another library. No registration is required, only your MyCalStateLA username and password.
