About this guide

This is your library research guide for Art.  The Art Department is a vibrant community of artists; designers, educators and historians dedicated to helping future generations realize their dreams.  They are accredited and nationally recognized by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.

The programs for both the Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Art are structured so that students have the opportunity to acquire an understanding of the variety of subjects encompassed within the visual arts as well as to develop excellence in a specific area.  They are Animation, Art Education, Art History, Graphic Design/Visual Communication, Fashion and Textiles and Studio Arts, which include ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and video.   The department also offers a Master of Fine Arts degree in both Design and Studio Arts.
