Use Reference Sources Database.

WHO

• Provide 2-3 examples of the genre's most famous or widely recognized song/singer/songwriter, musician/band
• Make sure to include images and samples of your music genre (parts of the song).  You can get as creative as you wish as long as the information is clear and focused.

Use Primary Sources and Newspaper Databases.

• Explain the music genre's historical significance:
• Why did it emerge?
• How did it emerge?
• Describe the social and historical period when it emerged.
• Explain the music genre's cultural significance.
• How did the music affect or influence the culture from where it is from?
• How did the music affect the Chicanx and Latinx people within the U.S.?

Use Peer-Reviewed Academic Articles and/or Scholarly Books.

ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY

Include an annotated bibliography of the articles, research papers, books, videos/films, journalistic sources etc., at the end of your presentation. No Wikipedia or unreliable sources.
