Children's Literature

Since 1956, IRA has been a nonprofit, global network of individuals and institutions committed to worldwide literacy. More than 70,000 members strong, the Association supports literacy professionals through a wide range of resources, advocacy efforts, volunteerism, and profess- ional development activities.

NAEYC's mission is to serve and act on behalf of the needs, rights and well-being of all young children with primary focus on the provision of educational and developmental services and resources.

The National Council of Teachers of English is devoted to improving the teaching and learning of English and the language arts at all levels of education.

A division of the American Library Association focused on resources to libraries to support teen learning and enrichment.
