Chicana(o) & Latina(o) Studies

The following is a selective guide of resources available in the Cal State LA Library or through the internet useful for researching the Latino/Chicano community in the United States.

About this guide

The Cal State LA library collection consists of many resources on the historical and contemporary experiences of Chicana(o)s and Latina(o)s in the United States.

The interdisciplinary (relating to many subjects) nature of Chicana(o) and Latina(o) Studies  means that relevant information is dispersed throughout many different academic areas making it challenging at times to access needed information.

This guide was created to help you find resources and materials at Cal Sate LA in many areas such as history, political science, sociology, ethnic studies, anthropology, psychology and more.
