Search by Exact Title or Author

To search for an exact book by title, go to Advanced Search and select "Title" and "is (exact)". Select "Books" as a material type.


To search books written by a specific author, select "author" and "is (exact)" and type the author's name:


Browse by Subject Terms

Searching within a "Subject" will allow you to browse materials about a subject. Using subjects, you can search for books:
  • About an author
  • About a historical event or era
  • About a literary theory
  • About a theme 

Below are just a few examples of subjects you might browse. To do so, select "Subject" and type one of the subjects below. When you find an interesting book, see which subject terms are assigned to it.
